| My husband bought this for me for Mother's Day! |
Replica Coach Purses! Omygosh! How fun were these? I worked
on 12 of these for gifts for my Spam family however one was for me too! Ok the pattern for these is a really old SU stamp
camp pattern I used years ago with the Toile Background stamp (does anyone remember that?). This purse box uses a 12 x 12
sheet of cardstock and 1/2 a sheet of 8-1/2 x 11 as well. I did not use the purse flap for these as I wanted a replica of
my real pink Coach!
I used my pink Coach Purse above as a visual for these!

| Cut another bottom to layer over the colored c/s. |
The finished Replica Purse box measures 6-3/4" across the base X
4-3/4" tall X 1-3/4" deep. The handles I made by cutting 3/8" strips of doubled Cardstock and then Faux
stitching along the edges and drawing the stitches with the metallic pencils to match. I used the Hodgepodge hardware
as a faux buckle and believe it or not E6000 is pretty much holding all these bad boys together! The stamped part would
be all those C's and I actually cut my C stamp apart (C from the Defining Alphabet) I stamped one whole purse and then
decided it would be faster to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line them up. It actually went super fast after I got started! The bottoms were cut out and stitched using embroidery thread and either Creamy caramel Cardstock or Textured White
Cardstock. So each one has a double bottom. I punched the squares holding the buckles out of doubled Cardstock and then faux
stitched those as well. OK I have to say, as I stitched the bottoms, about half way through is when I decided No way
was I sewing on those handles! I do not sew, My kids are lucky to get their buttons sewed on so this was a real stretch for
me! LOL
